Trowbridge

Melanie Trowbridge, MD

Psychiatrist (California Medical License G78564)
To many, the word “psychiatrist” may imply only “medication treatment”.  Without a doubt, Dr. Trowbridge believes that medication is a key component of the Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual Integrative Model that takes center stage in her practice.  However, her philosophy considers medication as only a piece of the mental wellness whole.  She believes that the most appropriate and most comprehensive treatment plan involves addressing each of those features that contribute to the whole.  She focuses on bringing a blended style that considers psychotherapy and psychopharmacology as resources in the progression of each individual’s mental wellness treatment plan.  Dr. Trowbridge further enjoys collaborating with other licensed mental health professional per her availability.
